ARGHHH TMD i just realized that i have made a grievous mistake. And i had been completely oblivious.
After all that 左算右算-ing, i accidentally "selected" the default lecture group 1 (BY NATURE OF NOT SELECTING LECTURE GROUP 2) for Socio, so now i am supposed to have lectures on Wed 1600-1800, and my "free" Wednesdays are not free anymore!!! NOoOOoOooOoOoOOoOo.
I JUST realized it, when i received 2 SMSes from IVLE (which i just learnt the existence of, yesterday)[HAHAHA what the shit, i cant believe i'm in uni] sent by the Socio lecturer reminding us to check the workbin for tomorrow's ppt & to stick with our allocated lecture groups. Shit man. :(
Haii. Anyway today was a very un-first-day-of-school-like day. Except for the having-to-wake-up-very-early part, and the squeeze on the morning bus. Had Physics in the Life Sciences lecture this morning from 0800-1000, AND SO MY SCHOOL ENDED AT 10AM. HAHAHAHAHAHA?!
To summarize briefly the first lecture of my uni life:
1) general feel of lecture: Ktay. HAHAHAHAHA seriously...
2) things that made it worse: HORRIBLE SOUND SYSTEM/SUCKY MICROPHONE WITH A LOT OF FEEDBACK, and made the whole lecture sound like we're listening to him in a vacuum flask
3) whatever else that can be heard/understood, it was actually quite interesting. Today was generic intro to bio (cells are operational definition of life, etc), physics (scales, and the vast difference when viewing things in different scales, galaxies etc), PHILO (he had quite a lot of philosophical-one-liners/questions - "Vital force" theory, WHAT IS LIFE, izzit just cells, with order & organization, etc), & horrifically, MATH (VECTORS. SCALAR, MAGNITUDE, ETC)
4) the leg room under the table in the LT is very little. :( Like budget airline.
5) but the LT is very nice actually. I was in LT25 this morning.
Haii. Shit i'm suddenly overwhelmed by sian-ness thinking about how i should go about planning/organizing my tutorials to fit into my now-new timetable. Arghh!
