CLUBMED: DAY 2 120509
5:44 p.m. @ Monday, Jun. 01, 2009

[Editted!]

We went for Snorkeling! Every day there would be a Snorkeling trip from about 9.30am to 12pm, and those who want to go will sign up at the Snorkeling counter at 9am. So after breakfast, we went down and signed up, and there was where we had our first interaction with the Herbalifers.

Ok we nicknamed them Herbalifers for our own convenience.

After you sign up, the GO will give you a set of
1) Mask + Snorkel
2) Fins (YEA MAN WE GOT FINS!! :D Damn cool. Finally i got to try it properly, after the first time semi-trying it during Tioman)
3) A mesh-bag to keep everything

And one of the Herbalifers (afterwards nicknamed KAM-SA-HA-MI-DA because Sirui randomly said "Kam-sa-ha-mi-da!" to thank me for something, and he parroted it again, "KAM-SA-HA-MI-DA! 这是新加坡语啊? :D" and we were like 0.0) Kam-sa-ha-mi-da put on the fins and mask and stuck the mouthpiece into his mouth, and started waddling around and like "checking" himself to see if he's set. HAHAHAHAAHAHAHHAHA?!!

I cant remember how many of the Herbalifers there were exactly, but afterwards we acquainted ourselves with these 2 couples + 总裁 HAHAHA.

On the bus on the way there.

Taking a short tram ride, from the jetty to our boat.

This is a nice pic. :D
And that's the mesh bag.

On the boat!

HAHAHAHAHAHA with the wife of Kam-Sa-Ha-Mi-Da. We kinda all sat together at the top deck, so it was really amazing that because we can all speak and understand Mandarin, naturally conversation just flowed along. :)
And then we got pally enough to end up with them "我要和这些妹妹拍照!" HAHAHA something like that, right.

Random Caucasian couple. I think they probably felt rather left out of our Mandarin conversation with the Taiwanese Herbalifers.
And btw i think the guy kinda looks like Christian Bale.

And this is Robin, the GO for Snorkeling. She speaks with an exotic accent! She looks rather dao here but she's quite friendly. I think she's South African.
HAHA you can see a bit of Moussa's head in the background.

And in the sea! :D Thanks to my uncle's waterproof+shockproof Olympus!

Prizes for guessing who are Pink, Yellow and Blue Snorkel respectively.
HAHAHAHA I DONT EVEN KNOW.

Hint. HAHAHA i think generally all snorkeling pics would be unflattering. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

AND THE FINS! :D
My finger looks really weird. I think i cut off my own peace sign. Oops.

FISH. And that's someone's hand in the middle of it, holding out pieces of bread for the fish.

Haha unglam shot.

Actually the waters at Phuket were disappointingly murky. Tioman was much better!

Picture of the boat. And who's that posing for my camera?! AHAHAHA!
And shit it it's my own camera and i accidentally covered the shutter with my finger. Stupid.

HAHAHAHAHAAHA!!

:D

After we got up. :D

HMMM Gwen's camera seems to have better colours. :(

HAHA this Heart-sign is supposed to be a "I AM OKAY!" sign, to be used as communication when we're out in the sea. The Cross is obviously, "I AM NOT OKAY!". Yah, and throw in a JIU MING AH! for good measure HAHAHA.

HAHAHAHA THIS MUST BE THE FUNNIEST.

The story behind this was, this Kam-Sa-Ha-Mi-Da couple (haha if you recognize, the woman in the purple jacket is the one in our posing-with-the-snorkeling-mask group photo up there^. The guy in black tee is none other than Kam-Sa-Ha-Mi-Da. Cartoon looking or not?! He's a damn comical person) were struggling to swim back to the boat when Robin called for all of us to go back.
And yes haha we can vouch that somehow, that swim back towards to the boat was amazingly tiring.

So the guy that they're taking the photo with, the topless Chinese guy (who's not a Herbalifer, btw) took the initiative to throw out a life bouy, which was tied to a rope that leads back to the boat, so Mr & Mrs Kam-Sa-Ha-Mi-Da grabbed onto the bouy and topless Chines guy pulled them back. Afterwards the bouy was left out there, for the rest of us to pull the rope to "help" us get back to the boat.

And there after, topless Chinese guy became affectionately bestowed "救命恩人" HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
So before that photo, Mr & Mrs Kam-Sa-Ha-Mi-Da were like "救命恩人! *to the rest of us* 来来,帮我们跟救命恩人拍张照!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA DAMN FUNNY...

Anyway the topless Chinese guy was just a random guy, HAHA he's Canadian, and he speaks American-accented English and PRC-accented Mandarin. Amazing.

From then on we also refer to him as 救命恩人. Like in the restaurant, "Look! 救命恩人! *waves to him* HI! :D"

GROUP PHOTO!
Guy in white on my right is Zong Cai.
You can see Mr & Mrs Kam-Sa-Ha-Mi-Da in front.
The couple on the left was the other couple, and (this is rather scandalous) THEY ARE BLOOD-RELATED COUSINS. :| HAHA wow. Okok but anyway the other interesting thing about this couple was that the woman (whom we refer to as 刘女士 or The Scary Herbalifer) who started hardselling Herbalife to Sirui AHAHAHAH and she sorta came to look for us after dinner to pass us her namecard. :|
And of course, 救命恩人 on the right.

After Snorkeling, we went for lunch, and then Archery!

This is the only picture we've got, since all of us were actively shooting HAHAHA. It was fun, but i've ever tried it at Genting before (ANTI-CLIMAX, I KNOW) and the bow/arrow at Clubmed are almost exactly the same!

--------

Then we went to the Clubhouse to play tennis/badminton/squash

It's very good that all the equipment were so easily available. :D And we got to use new Babolar tennis racquets!!

Hurhur random photos on the way back from Clubhouse to... RELAXATION YOGA.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Omg honestly the yoga session was rather fei HAHAHA. That's Kadek again, the Yoga instructor. There were only 4 of us for that Relaxation Yoga session, and he spent 80% of the time talking zen. And then we did simple stretching and ended with taking this photo.

Tuesday was really a rather exciting day, and after dinner and the night performance, there was a BEACH PARTY!!

HAHAHAHAHA! Those are actually the deck chairs around the swimming pool. So this goes to show the meticulousness of Clubmed staff - every night there will be small changes, such as the putting up of sashes between deck chairs at the poolside, the amazing thing is the drastic change in overall effect and atmosphere. :)

Cant really tell, but this is actually at the beach. There was sorta a lights grid set up, to do all these lightings + DJ table for music.

THIS IS THE BEST PART! :D They prepared these lanterns/like kong3 ming2 deng1 and then they let us (the guests) hold on to it, and release together simultaneously. I was super impressed by their arrangements and execution of this. :D Another point to Clubmed - the enjoyment and happiness of the guests are most important.

The picture still doesnt do justice to the actual scene. :)

And as if that wasnt the max climax, THERE WERE FIREWORKS.

Ok lah actually i think fireworks are best appreciated live. :)

OK END OF DAY 2!
