DATAMINING now.

没想到我也有今日. TMD.

Actually the purpose of this datamining exercise is even more despicable than before. Previously we just datamined contacts from Unis/Companies to email blast them (HAHAHA it's a thin line between business marketing and spamming) But now, i'm supposed to look through this list of Conferences, and pick out those that are relevant/similar to the one that we're organizing, AND POACH THEIR LIST OF CONTACTS.

Maybe one day i'll regret being so visceral and judgmental. Probably a day when i have to eat my words, some years down the road when i really start work and become an official member of the concrete jungle.

He's obviously very stressed out about his sales report haii long story. In the midst of oscillating between strangling-his-laptop (grab sides of screen and attempt to squeeze) and banging-his-head-on-his-table about 3 minutes ago, i offered him my stressbrainball, which he took and savagely squashed and twisted and wringed. And suddenly he totally relaxed and "Oh shit."

Haii.

Then Dalong just came to sit in Liyan's vacant seat next to me, under the staircase, and said, "Everyone needs a Harry Potter moment." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA WHAT THE HELL.

Ok another weird GL thing that Dalong just did. There's a woman waiting for interview for new Accounts Exec (... haii another long story) and she's currently in the pantry filling in the necessary forms + waiting, and Dalong just pulled open the door violently (it's a sliding door) stood exactly in the middle of the doorway, and slammed it shut again after 5s and realizing it's a stranger in the pantry.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHA?!

Wow it's finally pouring.

Oh anyway the reason why i wanted to write was because while datamining, i also googled/wiki-ed some things, and learnt that
1) there's some conference on catecholamine and "catacholamine" is actually the umbrella term for "fight-or-flight hormones", which we all know to be
2) there are conferences on "Applied Linear Algebra", "The History of Mathematics", "Research on Adolescence"... It's quite amazing what the highest minds of the world congregate to discuss.
3) i came across this IUPAC conference. It stands for International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry. "IUPAC" was damn familiar but i couldnt remember what it was, and this turned up after a quick wiki search. IUPAC NOMENCLATURE HAHAHA whoa man 18-bromo-12-butyl-11-chloro-4,8-diethyl-5-hydroxy-15-methoxytricos-6,13-diene-19-yne-3,9-dione. Do you miss this? Woohoo!
