ARGH sudden influx of annoyance.

Wei Song/Si Song concert was surprisingly disappointing. :( But for my GCO duties part, actually it was rather interesting and enjoyable.
Sirui didnt get it this time, so i was actually working "alone" and i was fretting over this as my father dropped me off at SIS and i was walking into the admin office to palm in. When i palmed in i couldnt find my name on the list and for a moment i seriously panicked thinking that i wasnt supposed to be here, then i realized my name under "STAR PASS" duties. HAHAHAH i didnt even know what that is. So turned out i was the ticket collector for Star Pass holders, so i manned the Priority Queue and my duties end at 9.30pm only, (= paid until 9.30pm only, too) which i initially thought "Shit it!" but eventually turned out to be a blessing in disguise coz i left earlier with my aunt's car (she came to watch the concert, together with my sister and mother) and got a comfortable ride home.
Anyway as i was walking out of the admin office, i met into this GCO who just came out of the toilet after changing into uniform, and i guess i had NOOB written all over my face and she was nice to initiate convo and then we found out each other is working without our usual friend(s) and we're from the same new batch. I was surprised when she offered to take my bag to put it on the chair beside hers, when we first entered the GCO room. So she took it and told me "You go and change first!"
Haha i dunno, it's the first time in a long time that i feel "taken care of" by a peer.
So we sat through briefing together and also chatted about what else but "So, where are you at now?" and found out she's in poly doing Diagnostic Radiology (which she was damn surprised and embarrassed that i was damn impressed) but eventually our duty postings were different so i didnt talk to her again for the rest of the night. So i did Star Pass by myself, coz it's a queue by the side of North Entrance (sorta, North-East Entrance, if you're familiar with the orientation of SIS) and doors opened at 7pm, event was supposedly at 8pm, and my priority queue closed at about 8.30pm, coz actually in the first place the ticket sales for this concert was quite bad :S
Then i pretty much hung around the foyer area talking to Bear, another fellow GCO but he's already a non-Newbie coz yesterday was his 5th event and we need 3 events to pass.
Anyway i realize i really do enjoy this vocation (HAHA ok sensitive word amongst NS guys eh) of ticket collector coz i get to talk to more people, both patrons as well as fellow co-workers, which is infinitely more fun and interesting than just sitting there and stopping overzealous fans from dancing on the aisles. Which was what i had to do for Oasis. Oh i realize i didnt write about it! Ok for that duty, i got to sit at the first row of Terrace seats, coz we're supposed to stop people from rushing down to the edge of the terrace in their excitement, (which would be a 3-4m drop onto the ground floor) and also to stop people from dancing on the steps and on the aisles.
Which this ang moh guy was doing with all his energy and going totally nuts over Oasis. Wow seriously the way he danced was... wow. HAHAHAHAAHAHAHA indescribable. But it was amazing how he made fast friends with the 2 random ang moh guys sitting next to him, and got them to dance together so in the end i had to deal with 3 dancing ang mohs. The girlfriend/wife/female companion of the Ang Moh Guy #1 (who started everything) was giving me apologetic looks.
Anyway interesting takeaways from yesterday:
1) Somehow the group of GCOs i was with is friendlier and more chatty. Nice :D
2) I managed to make friends with even the Security people, mostly because i was so clueless about what i was supposed to do (which afterward, i realized was reflected in my assessment sheet by BT that i'm "unsure about job scope" OOPS) and they kept coming back every 5min asking me "You know what to do??"
3) The Security people are very nice. HAHAHA there were 2 ladies who talked to me/advised me the most, and during the concert when i was hanging around the foyer with Bear, we also chatted with 1 of them and found out that she's a full time accountant/auditor and that she's also a triathlete. OMG. :O And her bike costs $10k!? HAHAHAHAHAHA omg... But damn cool. She got this steely demeanor but physically she's quite petite. But whoa, damn cool.
4) One of the Security's in-charge/2nd-in-command REALLY REMINDS ME OF MICHEAL MIU IN "LOVE EXCHANGE" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA omggg.
5) I met 2 people (seems like Koreans!) who came to SIS with tickets to Joey Yung's concert at Max Pavilion at SINGAPORE EXPO. Haii poor thing. I hope they managed to get there in time.
6) Bear wanted to see Jolin Tsai to see how she looks like in person. HAHAHAA if you see HIM in person (as his nickname suggests... HAHAHA but he's really a BFG) and hear him talk about Jolin Tsai, it's really damn funny.
7) I MET FELICIA CHIN!!! She was sorta late, so it was during the time after i closed Priority Queue and went over to North Entrance to help Bear. He got to trip her ticket. And he was so stunned. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! She was damn fair, dunno if it was the make-up, and her hair was held back by a hairband and tied in a ponytail.
8) I MET FANG ZHONG HUA HAHAHAHAHAHA. When he was leaving. AND HE LOOKED DIRECTLY AT ME AND I SMILED AT HIM AND SAID "GOOD NIGHT, BYE BYE!" WHICH HE ACKNOWLEDGED WITH A SMILE AND A NOD. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHA OMGGG. He was wearing this tight black tshirt, and jeans. Ok lah he really looks quite um chubby AHAHAHAHA!
Ok happy. :)
+ 9) Turned out my Aunt, Mother and Sister were sitting behind Peter Chen/Chan? Chen Bi De. The other judge on Campus Superstar.
Unfortunately i didnt see Li Fei Hui. :( Wo deng ni deng dao wo xin tong...
Anyway actually i felt quite bad for the Lee brothers coz the cheering from the crowd was painfully obviously much louder for all their guest stars than themselves. I managed to catch bits of Show Luo, Jolin Tsai and Steph Sun's performances. The bantering and supposed filler dialogue were cringe-inducing. And also, ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE IWEEKLY INTERVIEW?!?! Wah lau eh.
But ok lah as my aunt said, it's hard to catch Li Wei Song/Li Si Song performing on stage again, so well good or bad, this is going to be the only one in a long time.

Ah ok. At this point actually i first started the entry with a title "dialogues", intending to write about some interesting/stupid things that i've heard/participated in HAHAHA. Ok but that's postponed, hmm till next time.
Good night!
