Omg i must comment about this. ABOUT NATS09.

WE HAVE A MEDAL FOR EVERY EVENT SO FAR. OMGGGGGGGGGG <3<3<3 seriously!! Wow i cant even fully express my feelings in words.

I feel a mixture of chest-thumping pride, finally well-deserved sigh of triumph, and then an overwhelming desire to hug all of them and give them a big slobbery kiss. :D:D:D
I'M SERIOUSLY SO DAMN PROUD OF YOU GIRLS!!!

Though, i have the least credit to claim for today's glorious scene. But still.

Javelin C Girls
Jo Yee - 2nd
So Phia - 4th
Lan Ying - 8th
OMG WELL DONE WELL DONE!! All 3 in Top 8 is really, really good. Seriously. And HAHAHA i still remember LanYing the NYPS girl who used to throw shotput together with us on Sat! Wow now to Jav. Jo Yee and So Phia proved to be worthy successors to their 2 seniors Carissa and Eunice heh heh. Wow man to be able to stand on the podium, bearing NY's sanse, receiving a medal at Nationals Schools... is something i will never get to experience. Haii. Hopefully once you've tasted success, it will be an addiction to push you to keep your spot on the podium for next year.

Shotput B Girls
Zexin - 2nd
Sherah + Ingrid - DNQ
HAHAHAHAHA what happened ah Sherah and Ingrid?! Actually 8m... Ah i thought it was the qualifying?! Ah but nevermind, it's okay it's alright, Nanyang Nanyang fight fight fight.
And of course, WELL DONE ZEXIN :) Though you would very much like to...do something to the privileged daughter who got 1st, but HAHAHA skarli he build more ERP gantries near your house.

Discus A Girls
OMG PEILIH - 3RD HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ok this one is really... i bet Jiaolian also feel like giving you a big slobbery kiss. Maybe 2. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! But wow seriously, well done man. It's really, relac relac, slack slack, no pressure to do well/to get medal, then suddenly WHOA 29.05m bronze. HAHAHAHA! The world works in wondrous ways.
Anyway unfortunately i didnt get to know who is Guo Jun so i got no comments, but for Melissa... Aah i hope Shotput goes better!!
Hurhur for Rosaline, our awkwardly affiliated junior, actually i feel for you. Ah well, i hope my awkwardly loaned jav spikes bring you more success in your next event lah.

C Girls Discus
Alicia - 3rd
Kai Xuan - 8th
Jessica - 9th
HAHAHAHA ALICIA LONG WELL DONE MAN, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! 24.29m at Sec 1 is pretty impressive! And yes when i first knew her she was the NYPS star shotputter. HAHAHA! Kai Xuan, good job for getting Top8! :D Really, dont think too lowly of the 8th position, it is pivotal.
And again, sorry i dunno who is Jessica, but still the experience at Nats as a Sec1 (i'm assuming she's a junior, right?) is very good, and can hopefully help for next year.

Omg man when i thought NY throws had reached its peak, it just goes higher and higher... Hahahaha! I am really damn happy. :D:D:D

Today also happened to be 415 day!! Had NASS as usual, which btw i think i am getting used/apathetic/indifferent to (but at least for this month, i'm taking the better classes) so after that had lunch at Tampines mall and browsed the new Tampines 1. And can you believe that on a random Wednesday afternoon at like 3.15pm, there is a freaking queue outside Uniqlo!?

And Shumin and i still queued HAHAHA ok actually afterwards i realized the queue is a rather good marketing/sales/consumer psychology thing, because
1) after queuing for so long, you feel like you must buy something to justify your time spent queuing
2) the long queue outside the shop makes them/the brand look damn good and desirable
3) for real practical reasons - the queuing/regulating of crowd number in the shop makes it a better shopping experience for the patrons which will make them feel more comfortable to browse/try/buy/spend.

Well done Uniqlo.

Then after that Shumin and i headed down to Suntec to meet Shanti and we got to take her hippo bus! AND IT WAS A DAMN NICE EXPERIENCE ACTUALLY. :D:D:D Took the 5pm bus, and actually i think that's quite a good time to take coz it's just nice at the evening time where it's bright but not too hot, and the evening light complements all the scenery along the way and i think the photos will turn out damn nice too.

Met Kaiyi at Suntec and 4 of us walked over to Shokudo pasta at Citylink mall. Sylvia and Liyan joined us and it was a gathering of 6 people for a 415 day. Kinda sad, but still it doesnt make our gathering any less fun or meaningful. :D

Kaiyi is leaving for Perth tomorrow, staying all the way till end of the year. Omg. It was quite a shocking news to me. Shocking, but pleasantly exciting. Actually maybe it's because all along i've never considered it (because i know i will not be going overseas) but wow the thought of spending 6 months overseas, starting TOMORROW, makes my spine tingle. All the best, though you wont see this.

SMU interview yesterday. Ah i've repeated the story a few times to different people, dont feel like writing now. Maybe in another entry.

And today i got a call from NUS for USP interview!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! :D:D:D means
1) my essay miraculously made the cut?!
2) my documents got sent safely over
I was quite pleasantly surprised. Nowadays when i get calls from unknown numbers, it makes my heart skip a beat.
So interview's scheduled for next Saturday 1130am. SO EXCITINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.

-----

OK TODAY IS THE 4TH CONSECUTIVE NIGHT MY PLAN TO SLEEP EARLY HAS BEEN DISRUPTED. AGAIN.

And it's nobody's fault but my own.

Damn it. Hate it when i'm wrong and i'm blaming myself and i cannot complain.

"Today is unique!
It has never occurred before and it will never be repeated. At midnight it will end, quietly, suddenly, totally. Forever.
But the hours between now and then are opportunities with eternal possibilities."
