Omg i never imagined there would be such a day.
When i get to hear Leslie Cheung's 追 in the original Cantonese version on radio.
Though, it was a Malaysian channel hurhur (98.8 over there, over here i see my dad's car's setting is at FM99.9)
The amazing thing was probably, the impeccable stroke of fate and luck, that i would be listening to the radio at that moment, and i would be paying enough attention to pick up "...哥哥/gor gor (the DJ was speaking in canto hurhur)" and i was wondering if he was referring to Leslie Cheung. Then he mentioned about coincidentally, he (the DJ) also chanced across another HK radio station (or something like that) which was reminiscing Leslie Cheung. Then he said (loosely transcripted) he has a good song to recommend, and there is a melancholic and meaningful sigh at the ending, which made the song even more beautiful.
That song is none other than 追.
Whoa, when the intro started, i was so... overwhelmed.
At that moment, i wondered about who else in Singapore and Malaysia are listening to it.
What are they thinking.
How are they feeling.
Is there someone else out there feeling like how i'm feeling??
Wah it was really so surreal listening to that song on radio.
Amazing.
And if i haven mentioned it enough, the melody was composed by Dick Lee. I would give him 10 Cultural Medallions just for this one song. <3<3<3
