减工资

Today, i wore the orange MMI polo tee + dark blue berms to work.
My Work Wardrobe for MMI consist of random assortments/combinations of tshirts/polos and jeans/pants/shorts.

So this morning, when Ms Khoo (the big boss) passed me in the pantry when she went to make coffee and i was sitting at the desk in the pantry setting up my laptop (i'm working in the pantry coz i need a telephone and there's one in the pantry) and she commented to me,
Ms Khoo: You look very comfortable everyday... *looks at me, my orange tee and my dark blue shorts*
Me: ... :|
Me: Izzit?
Ms Khoo: Yah... Everyday...

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!?! :O

Anyway. Many things have happened at work but i haven updated. Zzz and now i dont know where to start.

I feel like i'm getting more responsibility. While it's good that it makes me feel more involved and more "into" the company, and consequently the sense of ownership for my work makes me care about what i'm doing and if i'm doing it well etc, i'm wondering if it will all be in vain, considering that we are leaving (relative to the rest of the company, soon)?
But i also know i cant keep thinking about the "...but we are leaving soon" because that will just hamper my work.

Zzz. And i also cant help thinking about the (measly) monetary reward that i'm getting in return for my time, efforts and priceless Youth. HAHAHAHA. Ok anyway. Should responsibility be directly proportionate to pay? I think yes.

Haii anyway recently Alex has taken to a new catchphrase, that at any mistakes or random comments which requires the company bear additional expenditure, he will say in this accusatory gloating singsong manner, "减工资! HAHAHA!"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA it's actually quite funny. But i think it's quite taboo coz SKARLI SAY SAY SAY THEN REALLY BECOME TRUE HOW!?

Wah lau eh.

It has never occurred before and it will never be repeated. At midnight it will end, quietly, suddenly, totally. Forever.
But the hours between now and then are opportunities with eternal possibilities."
