Ah.

Just came home from a dinner with Yinghan and Wanling. Hahaha what can i say, other than i love my friends. :D

Actually the past 3 days have been gatherings with different groups of people in my life:

Tuesday dinner at 6th Ave zichar + Tiger beer with college throwers - Audrey Carolyn Monkey Scott Yam Jon Jeremy + Jiaolian. Hurhur. Ok under this category of "Throwers", i admit i have been falling very out of touch with the NY team. Shit it. :( But really, right now it's rather chronologically and logistically impossible to squeeze myself into the training schedules. Haii this is a very irritating irresponsibly non-commital phrase, but see how, see how...

Wednesday dinner at BTM with 415 - Qianwen Shumin Liyan Shanti Yujing Sylvia and Tricia. Interesting interesting. Hahaha we talked about the widest range of topics and BTM is just The Place for any 415 gathering... HAHAHA i dunno why, but YOU KNOW IT TO BE TRUE.
Anyway Wed was also an interesting afternoon in office because Liyan and Mr Ng werent around in the afternoon so there was only Alex and me and we had this long conversation and talked of cabbages and kings and of ontology. HAHAHAHA HM ok it's always not good for me to speak with religious fanatics. And a dogmatic, opinionated and strong-willed man at that, hurhur. At the end of it, i just got even more equivocal (if that's even possible) about this whole thing that is Religion, and i'm very surprised that for someone that i perceived/described as very dogmatic, opinionated and strong-willed (thereby implying strong self confidence, pride and individuality) will be religious. Ok and plus, he smokes and drinks. ?!?!?!

SUCH CONTRADICTION. And yet still so damn proud of it. Men!

I consider myself more agnostic than atheistic (i hope "agnosticism" doesnt become as widely-known/understood for what it means, as "atheism" because the latter is a magnet for religious over-zealots zomg. HAHAHA OMG WHAT A PUN. HAHAHAHA AND I STILL CANT CHANGE USING 'OMG' oops sorry), especially since recently reading the very Buddhism-inclined book "Island" and Huxley is so very convincing. Logic and rationality, can they be immanently revelational and yet transcendental across all individuals and all states of mind? Essentially we are churches and temples within ourselves!
Anyway as i accumulate more Life Experience with each day and moment of my existence and consciousness, i am getting more and more hopelessly ambivalent. (euphemism for, indecisiveness) About many many things. Zzz.

Anyway to me, while i read my horoscope in Life!/iWeekly/anywhere else that is available, and i have also ever read parts of the Bible and tried reading Buddhism-infused material, but i find it hard to accept that i am not in control of myself. Hm.

ANYWAY ANYWAY. I have a question - how do we keep memories and generate thoughts?? The biological aspect of it? HAHAHAHA i ever pondered it a long long time ago, and i thought, "Do cells have brains?" (evidently, that was a really long time ago before i got bombarded with learning about the million and one things in a cell, [and also learnt that cells DONT have brains. But there are such things called brain cells.] which distracted me from thinking how would a cell think?)

Ok goodnight i'm going to sleep soon. Going to Genting tomorrow, then Sat KL and Sun back. This routine is. Hah. I dont even know what to say.

OOH HAHAHAHA something funny happened, on the way home just now. Yinghan and i got into the lift together with this angmoh couple (a really good looking pair. WAH MAN, LIFE IS UNFAIR, BUT LESS UNFAIR TO SOME THAN OTHERS) and he was asking me what i was going to do in Genting (other than what i've been doing there for like, THE PAST 10 YEARS?!) and if i was going to gamble, so i mused "Nah, i dont believe in casinos. Unless i own them." AND THE WOMAN OF THAT COUPLE LAUGHED. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA OMG THANK YOU THANK YOU I FELT SO HONOURED THAT MY SEMI-JOKE WAS APPRECIATED HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Woohoo well done, what wit! :D Hurhur good alliteration for my name too thanks.

OH YAH. Today i also learnt from Yinghan that, it's difficult to go to my past entries. REALLY MEH!? :| Wah lau i've always prided myself in having a good and clear template because personally i also hate blogs that i cannot easily view archives or navigate around. So, A SITEMAP! (i dont even really know what this means HAHAHA!)

1) click on "previous entry" at the bottom of this entry

Click "Older".
I dont want to say the 3-letter word. HAHAHAHAA!

Ok admittedly the Right Sidebar configuration is subjected to arbitrary change, depending on my mood + House LJ icons community + inspiration from random quotes. But the Newest/Older/Hosted by diaryland will be a permanent fixture no matter what.

Ok my unique today/yesterday has just ended and i am going to start tomorrow/today by sleeping. Good night.

"Today is unique!
It has never occurred before and it will never be repeated. At midnight it will end, quietly, suddenly, totally. Forever.
But the hours between now and then are opportunities with eternal possibilities."
