Today the winds of change swept through office and we had a big albeit welcomed disruption in the morning when they moved the furniture around office to make space for the new temps/interns. I was wondering "...aren't they gonna just take our space?!" but well.
Lowly Small Fry Temp should keep quiet.
Anyway talking about being LSFT, actually this period of working life is a rather ambivalent one. We know we're definitely leaving prob by July, so sometimes (USUALLY WHEN I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF A MINDLESS DATA MINING) I'll get a sudden jolt hmmm what am I doing here?!
But well everything happens for a reason right. Hurhur I'll know it when I know.
Anyway so now, the new change is,
1) I have lost my good feng shui spot. My previous seat is one of the 3 spots in office where my laptop screen isn't exposed. Damn.
2) Our new table partner is Alex.
HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA it's actually kinda OMGWTH funny. So now I sit with Liyan on my left and Alex on my right, and the physical orientation is a rotation 90deg to the left, relative to my original position.. So now, my screen is exposed to Alex and also anyone who's walking to the pantry/taking something from the printer, and it's also awkward to talk to Liyan with Alex next to us.
IT IS A PLOY. Damn.
